You know how we roll- balance in life, balance on the boat (well, most of the time…), but most of all we paddle hard and play harder! Hope you all enjoyed another full weekend with the team!

Don’t forget that there is no water practice at Lake Merced this weekend! We will meet for a cross-training session at the SFSU Track (Cox Stadium) at 10:30am instead. If you can’t find the group, please call Charles at (415) 385-6047.

Get directions to Cox Stadium here – Otherwise just head east from the main parking garage
After the training, we’ll head back to the lake to cheer on our Ripple members who are coaching for the Youth Race, and if you haven’t been to a dragonboat race before you can get a chance to see how intense a competition can be!

Bowling Mixer and Ropes Course this weekend

This Saturday night at Classic Bowl (6pm) we’ll be having a bowling mixer with fellow Lake Merced teams Dragon Warriors and Suen Feng Loong. Sign up on the evite so we’ll know you’re coming- and remember, it’s just a bowling alley so you don’t need to be 21!
This Sunday afternoon at Fort Miley (12:30pm) is our long-awaited Ropes Course! Get on the evite here, and bring your friends!
Great job on the water this weekend, pushing your limits during time trials and putting in another solid practice! Thanks to everyone new for giving us a try, and thanks to everyone who helped make the TexMex barbecue a huge success!

Hope everyone had fun at the Sushi night at Henry’s, especially with all the great food and company!
Cross training this Saturday instead of Lake Merced practice!
With the Youth Race going on at Lake Merced next Saturday there will be no water training. Please come to the track at San Francisco State University’s Cox Stadium for a cross-training session, we’ll be doing exercises designed to actually benefit you on the boat!
Afterward we’ll be heading back to Lake Merced to cheer on the youth teams, a lot of which are being coached by Ripple members! Remember, these kids are some of the best youth teams in the nation, so if you’ve never been to a dragonboat race you can get a great taste of the intensity!
We’re fixing the Ripple Store!
If you’ve had issues trying to buy Ripple schwag, we’re working on it! Our engineering team has identified the problem and we’ll have it fixed for you right away.
For now, you can email your order to ripplesf@gmail.com and we should have it for you by next Saturday!
We’re also adding new stuff: T-Shirts, weatherproof stickers and more, so keep checking back!
