More Vancouver paddlers needed
If you’ve been kicking yourself for not signing up for Vancouver earlier this season, do not distress, your chance has come! We’re looking for a handful more to join us for some of the greatest racing on the continent, not to mention all the amazing sites and food (MMMMM dim sum).
Check out the website for the Vancouver race to get an idea of what’s in store!
Experience is not an issue, but we’ll need to know by this Sunday if you’ll be able to make it before we start recruiting paddlers from team friendlies in Vancouver.
Please email Kristine by this Sunday if you’re interested!

Congratulations to everyone on a successful first race of the season, and our first ever with three crews! Thanks to everyone who helped make our race a success, from our crew captains and steerers to your friends & relatives who came by to show their support!
We’ll try to get everyone’s pictures uploaded by this week, but to start here’s the set from Charles:

Also thanks to Scott Kong for taking great professional pictures for us! His photo set can be found here

Brad will have your tickets at Willie Mays Plaza at Third & King Streets (pictured), underneath the statue, at 5:30pm. Get directions here – public transportation is highly encouraged because of heavy traffic.
Please get there as soon as you can so you can claim your bobbleheads! It also might rain a bit, so please be sure to dress warmly and bring an umbrella.
